Most software agencies sell you a team of ten and bill you for a team of ten. We think that's backwards. The best software comes from small, focused teams who understand the problem deeply and ship fast.
How it starts
Every project starts with a scoping call — not a pitch deck. We want to understand:
- What you're building
- Who it's for
- What success looks like
- What's explicitly out of scope
From there we write a one-page spec: features, timeline, cost, and boundaries. No ambiguity, no surprises.
How we build
We work in two-week sprints with a working deployment at the end of each one. Here's what that looks like in practice:
Week 1
- Core feature development
- Daily async updates via Slack or email
- Staging environment updated continuously
Week 2
- Polish, edge cases, and testing
- Client review session
- Sprint retrospective and next sprint planning
We've found that showing real software beats showing mockups every time. If something feels wrong, we catch it in week two instead of month three.
Our sweet spot
We work best on projects that span multiple verticals:
- A Next.js dashboard with an API backend
- A React Native companion app for mobile users
- An AI feature that processes user data intelligently
We handle the entire vertical — design, development, deployment, and handoff.
Pricing
Pricing is project-based, not hourly. We quote a fixed price after scoping, and that's what you pay.
- If we underestimate, that's on us
- If the scope changes, we re-scope and re-quote transparently
- No surprise invoices, no billable-hour anxiety
We've found this builds trust faster than any hourly arrangement.
